Cake With Orange Flavour

INGREDIENTS:

1.     Fresh orange juice- 500 ml
2.     Sugar- 100 gm
3.     Butter- 50 gm
4.     Wheat flour – 100 gm 
5.     Baking powder- ¼ tsp
6.     Eggs- 2

METHOD:

  • Add sugar to orange juice and boil till sugar dissolves. Keep this aside.
  • Now blend eggs and 2 tbs sugar. Then add flour, baking powder and butter and blend.
  • Now apply butter on non stick pan and pour the blended mix.
  • Cover the lid and put on stove. Keep on high flame for 1 min then on lowest flame for 10 mins.
  • Then remove lid and make cake upside down with the help of wooden spoon. Again keep on lowest flame for 10 mins.
  • Now put off the stove and pour the hot orange syrup on the cake.
  • Cut the cake so that the cake absorbs the syrup.
  • Leave it to cool, when it reaches room temperature, refrigerate it.
  • Serve it cool.
