Khopre ki chikki


Ingredients:

1.     Jaggery – 1 piece
2.     Dry coconut- 1 piece
3.     Ghee- 2 tbs

Method:

  • Crumble jaggery and grind coconut to get its powder.
  • Keep a non- stick pan on stove and pour ghee.
  • Set medium flame throughout.
  • Now add jaggery to it and keep stirring till it turns brown.
  • Now add coconut to it and mix well.
  • Put off the flame and leave it to cool.
  • When it cools down, cut it into pieces and serve.




Mash Ki Khadi Daal


Ingredients:
1.     Daal mash- 200 gm
2.     Onion- 1
3.     Garlic ginger paste- 1 tsp
4.     Green chilies- 10
5.     Salt- 1 tsp
6.     Black pepper powder- ½ tsp
7.     Coriander- 2
8.     Oil- 50 gm

Method:
  • Cook daal till it becomes tender. If water is left drain it off.
  • Keep a vessel on stove and heat oil, then add onion and green chilies till onion becomes light brown.
  • Now add garlic ginger paste and fry.
  • Then add coriander and fry. Set to low flame.
  • Now add daal, salt, black pepper and stir till everything mixes well.
  • Put off the stove.
  • Serve with chapaties.
