Ingredients For Bade:

Basen- 250 gm

Dhanya zeera powder- 1 tsp
3.
Baking powder- ½ tsp
4.
Salt-1 tsp
5.
Red chili powder- 1 tsp
6.
Turmeric powder- less than ¼ tsp
7.
Garlic ginger paste- ½ tsp
8.
Water
9.
Curd- 500 gm
10.
coriander- 2 bunches
11.
mint- 1 bunch
Ingredients For Bagar:
1.
Zeera- ½ tsp
2.
Rai- ¼ tsp
3.
Dry Red chilies- 5
4.
Oil- 30 gm
5.
Turmeric powder- 2 pinch
Method:
- chop coriander and mint.
- Take basen In a bowl and add red chili powder, salt,
garlic ginger paste, turmeric powder, soda, dhanya zeera powder, half of
chopped, coriander and mint, water and make its paste. Keep it aside for
atleast 1 hr.
- Beat curd in a bowl then add 1 tsp salt and less than ¼
tsp garlic ginger paste, rest of coriander and mint. Mix it well.
- Pour oil in a pan and fry zeera and let this turn light
brown then add rai and red chilies. Fry this for a mins and put off the
stove.
- After putting off the stove add turmeric powder (2
pinch).
- Now add this bagar to curd. And mix. Keep it aside.
- In a vessel take water (2 ltr) and dissolve 1tsp salt.
- Pour oil in a kadhai and pour 1 tbs of basen which was
kept aside and deep fry on even less than medium flame to make badiya.
Make as much as possible in one attempt. Fry till badiya turns golden
brown. Then put this badiya in water dissolved with salt. Leave badiya in
water for minimum of 2 hrs.
- Now for serving take a badiya in a plate and pour the
curd which was kept aside over it.
- Dahi Bade is ready.
