Veg Khorma


                                
Ingredients:
1.     Onion-1
2.     Peas- 200 gm
3.     Potatoes- 200 gm
4.     Tomato- 200gm
5.     Carrot- 200 gm
6.     Khash khash- 50 gm
7.     Groundnut – 50 gm
8.     Curd – 200 gm
9.     Shazira – elaichi powder- 1 tsp
10.  Garlic & ginger paste-1 tsp
11.    Green chillies- 10
12.   Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
13.  Salt- 1 ½ tsp
14.  Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
15. Coriander- 2
16.   Mint- 1
17.  Oil- 50 gm
Method:
  • Cut potatoes, tomato, carrot into small pieces. And keep aside.
  • Roast khash – khash and groundnut and grind it. In a bowl mix khash khash ,groundnut , shazira elaichi and curd and keep aside.
  • Keep vessel on stove and pour oil and fry onion and green chillies. When onion turns light brown add garlic ginger paste, turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder and fry. Now add the curd mix and ½ ltr water. Then add potatoes, tomato, carrot and peas. Cook this till potatoes turn tender.
  • When potatoes turn tender add ½ ltr water , coriander and mint. Let it boil for 3 mins then set the lowest flame for 10 mins and then turn off the stove.
  • Your veg khorma is ready.
  • It can be served with puri, chapatti or rice.
