Sheer Khorma




Ingredients:
1.     Milk- 5 ltrs
2.     Handmade vermicelli- 100 gm
3.     Dates- 500 gm
4.     Sugar- 800 gm
5.     Almonds- 50 gm
6.     Pistachio- 50 gm
7.     Ghee- 100 gm

Method:
  • Soak almonds in water for 5- 6 hrs. Then peel its skin and cut it vertically.
  • Also cut pistachio vertically and keep aside.
  • Keep a vessel on stove, pour ghee and deep fry vermicelli till it turns golden brown.
  • Take out vermicelli from ghee and keep aside.
  • Now remove seeds of dates and fry these in the remaining ghee. 
  • After the dates are fried, take it off from ghee and keep aside.
  • Take sugar In a vessel, add 2 glass water and let it boil for 5 mins. This is your sugar syrup.
  • In a vessel pour milk and boil.
  •  Then to the boiled milk add fried vermicelli, sugar syrup and let this milk boil for 30 mins.
  • Sheer khorma is ready.
  • Pour sheer khorma in bowl and garnish with the fried dates, almonds and pistachio.
