Rice Kheer


                                             
Ingredients:  
1.     Basmati rice (or) Rice- 100 gm
2.     Khova- 500 gm
3.     Milk- 2 ltr
4.     Sugar- 500 gm
5.     Almonds- 50 gm
6.     Pistachio- 50 gm

Method:
  • Soak rice for at least 2 hrs. Then grind it to get a paste.
  • Cook khova by adding a cup of water, keep stirring and see to it that khova doesn’t stick  to the base of vessel.
  • Add a glass of water to sugar and bring this to boil. This is your sugar syrup.
  • Add sugar syrup to khova and boil for 2 mins. Keep it aside.
  • Boil milk, add rice paste and let it boil for 10 mins. Add the khova sugar mix to the milk. Cook this for 10 mins.
  • Kheer is ready. Garnish it with almonds and pistachio.
  • Refrigerate it and serve.
