Bottle Gourd With Methi Leaves


                                                            
                                               
Ingredients:
1.     Bottle gourd- 500 gm
2.     Meat- 200 gm
3.     Onion- 1
4.     Green chillies-6
5.     Salt- 1tsp
6.     Garlic & ginger paste-1 tsp
7.     Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
8.     Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
9.     Methi leaves- 1 cup
10.   Coriander- 2
11.   Oil- 50 gm

Method:
  • Peel skin of bottle gourd, remove its seeds and cut into small pieces.
  • In a vessel pour oil and fry onion and green chillies until onion becomes soft.
  • Now add meat, garlic & ginger paste, salt ( ½ tsp), turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fry till water of meat dries.
  • Now add water and cook till meat becomes half tender.
  • Now add bottle gourd, methi leaves and salt ( ½ tsp) and water and cook till gourd become tender.
  • Now add coriander and stir till the water dries. Then keep on lowest flame for 5 mins.
  • Bottle gourd curry is ready.
