Tahari


Ingredients:
1.     Kheema- 250 gm
2.     Rice – 500 gm
3.     Onion-1
4.     Curd- 200 gm
5.     Tomatto -200 gm
6.     Salt- 1 ½ tsp
7.     Red chilli powder- 1tsp
8.     Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
9.     Garlic & ginger paste- 2 tsp
10.  Green chillies- 8
11.  Lemon- ½
12.  Shazira powder- ½ tsp
13. Elaichi powder- ½ tsp
14.  Cinnamon- 2 (3 inch each)
15.  Corriander-2 bunches
16. Mint-1 bunch
17. Oil- 50 gm
Method:
  • Keep vessel on stove and pour oil. To this add onion, cinnamon, green chillies and fry until onion turns soft.
  • Then add Kheema, turmeric, garlic- ginger, salt (1tsp) and red chilli and fry this well. And add tomato, curd and water and let kheema become tender. After this mix it properly
  • Then add 1 ltr water ( or more if required), salt (1/2 tsp) , coriander, mint and lemon let this mixture come to boil for 5 mins then leave on lowest flame for 20 mins.
  • To this add rice and let it cook till rice cooks and water dries. And keep on lowest flame for 10-15 mins.
  • Delicious Tahari is ready.
